As I say in the title, above, there is nothing here to criticize, seriously. It's all good. (SKIP TO THE END AND THE 'RECOMMENDATION ' SECTION, OTHERWISE ENDURE MY OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH). The Chipofy 170W charger has survived the tests on my end. While I've never had occasion to simultaneously charge six devices, I've charged more than six at different times. For something as basic as a multi-device charger to score unanimously high, you know it's got to be good. And being a critical electrical device that powers-up other devices, it's obviously reliable and free of two basic "overs" that can delay sleep once you've closed down the office for the night: over-heating and over-charging are obvious ones. I spent a month with the unit, charging everything that moved and many that hadn't moved in longer than I can remember--but were moving around the shop once rejuvenated by the Chipofy charger. It would not be proper of me to comment on others' reviews but allow me to do so for a second. The reason is that it seems a couple of people had issues with the cord that powers the charger. I saw references to the charger body spawning a flip-out AC 2-prong plug, which fits snug into the wall socket. This set-up was then compared with an alternate set-up wherein the charger body was situated several feet from the AC plug thanks to the use of an "extension cord". Well, mine had no extension cord as described and I've yet to see any flip-out two prong plug. Mine came with the 4' extension cord hard-wired to the charger body, seemingly not anything that's user-detachable. At one point, I gave in to curiosity and tried to remove it. As a last resort, I had a screwdriver poised and was going to rip this thing untimely from its mount. But then I had a thought: "What if the manufacturer changed the design in answer to Amazon reviewers' comments? Maybe there is no longer an option of a flip-out onboard plug vs an extension cord". My AC cord is so tightly integrated with the body of the charger that I'm inclined to go with the latter "there's been a small change" theory. It's all good. Why in the world would you NOT want to use a 4' "extension cord", especially if it's NOT an extension cord but is hard-wired to the charger. A longer cable, one that's built-in and not a home DIY job, is a convenience and it presents a smaller footprint to deal with. You don't have to place the entire charger body atop the AC outlet(s), possibly covering up one of them. The larger issue is one any electrician will spot immediately. Generally speaking you cannot plug an extension into an extension, a power bar into a power bar, etc. It can cause overheating and fires. The power bar and the "extension" cord must be "UL Certified" for safe operation. I don't know anything about a UL except for this guy I used to know in Finland. So it took some research but I'm able to report that the 4-foot cable off the charger is "UL-certified U.S.A". Which includes Canada due to .... it's a long story. And my power bar, as it happens, is also UL-certified. This is a good enough reason to dissuade me from purchasing a dollar store electrical outlet or extension. Everything comes up roses with this charger. It's not only UL-Certified USA; it is protected from the dreaded overheating and over-voltage scenarios. Hopefully someone will feel better purchasing this charger due to my research. One person would be nice. Actually, a lot of my concerns are sefish. I run a studio down here in the cellar and overheating is not a good thing. Nor is over-voltage, which can add up to the same result. I shudder to think of such matters.SOUNDS TRIVIAL PERHAPS BUT IT'S ABOUT STABILITY This next minor issue reared its head during use but I caught the unit just in time! I say "minor" because this charger is built from ABS and fire retardant super plastics. Back to the possible problem, which cannot be faulted to the charger. This is a tower unit, so-named because it doesn't sit flat on its side but rises vertically. A few stiff coated wires plugged into two adjacent USB ports can begin to topple such a tower owing to the principle of leverage (I believe that's the name of the principle). Even though those stiff cords are distant, they can combine with a fulcrum and topple a large tower. Even though the tower is inherently stable as a tree stump, you might want to secure it a little further. In the photos above I advise you to apply double-sided tape or a Velcro-branded or generic hook and loop fastener to anchor the tower. It takes but one strip of 2-sided tape, maybe the length of 2-fingernails. You do this and your charger is suddenly immune to trivial leverage as described. The wandering charger is more apt, now, to stay around home.RECOMMENDATION Without a doubt this is a solid purchase. It is a charger that is well-designed, manufactured with attention to fine details (judging from the finishing touches, the quality and symmetry of the cuts, etc), and the price is, although not bargain basement, fair. Put it this way: there are others that cost more but that I wouldn't trust more than the Chipofy 170W USB C charger. Now that I've been to the depths researching the electrical aspects, I've carved my own review niche and I'll refrain from echoing other reviewers' observations on other matters. I have no problem giving this charger five out of five stars. Tbw
