I ordered the mulch plug at the same time that I ordered the EGO Power+ T6 42" tractor. Even though the page for the plug said it was for the Z6 (ZTR), the mower decks are the same and it fits perfectly.Even though the instructions say to leave the chute in place that's used to directly grass clippings when you don't have a mulching plug, I removed the chute (to keep it looking neat). Only took about 2 minutes to put the plug in place. It fits securely and stays in place very nicely. With the plug in place, the mower does a great job of mulching. It's easy to clean, too.I'm very happy with it--if you want to mulch with with either the T6 or Z6 42", you will be too!
