My only problem is that the seller doesn’t sell usb to usb c cables that came with this product and that usb c double sided is not silver white.Bought one to charge my laptop in a vehicle, but it started having connection problems because the tip was melted solid in the short position and no longer springy. Bought a second one and it also melted in the short position and barely maintains a connection.Needs thicker wires or better coolingI bought this to charge my Surface Pro 6 in my car. Although Surface is not listed on the page for this device, with the proper USB C to Surface connector [J-Go Tech 15V Surface Connect to USB-C Cable | Works with 45W USB C PD Chargers] this item works! It meets the 15V 90W power requirements to charge the Surface Pro 6.The charger is small light weight and nicely made. and with the two additional USB ports, I can charge other items and have only one charger in my vehicle.BatPower makes a specific 12V charger [BatPower UL 120W Car Charger Power Supply for Microsoft Surface] with a coaxial power plug which I am certain works well. But I wanted a USB C solution because I feel USB C is the coming standard for PD chargers. I am pleased this works. On some message boards, people worry about the power from the 12V auto alternator not being clean and recommend only the MS supplies wall charger. I cannot address this concern but this makes traveling easy.Only 4 Stars because I have not fully tested this for long use.Started promising. Certainly charges an iPhone quickly out of the USB-C, and pretty good out of the USB-B. It is enough power that it will actually charge up an iPhone while the screen is full brightness running Waze or something, while normal chargers just tread water. It also gives a weak charge to a MacBook via USB-C. DO NOT make the mistake of leaving it in while you car is off. This will drain your car battery very quickly. The plastic housing nearly covered the metal contacts of the plug, so I shaved some plastic with a utility knife and that helped.Just didn't last -- after 3 months the power was spotty and then 2 months later it died. I thought I had a $60 paperweight, but a sent a message to BatPower and they informed me the warranty is 18 months, and they are sending a new one. Awesome. Fingers crossed.I'm very satisfied with this product. It is great to be able to have a Power Delivery USB-C charger in my car to charge my Razer Blade Advanced 15" laptop when I find myself working from my car time to time, and I'm impressed with how cool the charger itself stays even when I'm tapping to full capacity. The USB A chargers also work great for powering my phone. The charger itself is relatively low profile. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and recommend it for anyone looking for a quality PD charger in their car.I've tried several USB-C cigarette-lighter chargers for my 16-inch MacBook Pro (2019), and this has been the best by far. Another brand cracked at a seam between two external pieces of plastic and stopped working. Most are just too low-powered. But the exterior of this one is one piece of molded plastic, and seems sturdy, while it keeps my laptop charged even when doing power-intensive work, like processing photos or editing videos. On a 3-week camping trip it worked flawlessly, and seems no worse for wear.I have had this for about 6 months and while initially I was really happy with it, I noticed over time that it was getting harder and harder to keep it "connected" in the 12v accessory plug in my yukon; the other day I finally pulled it out and took a good look at it and realized that it has gotten pretty majorly deformed. While it's great when it works, it doesn't seem to dissipate heat well enough to keep up with the use I put it through.I frequently used it to recharge my 16" macbook pro and to recharge USB-C powerbanks that I use when working remotely; I loved being able to charge them more quickly than the 60W charger that I used before (and now use again) but I don't know how to keep this from happening again, so I'm hesitant to purchase again. It's a shame, because this is one of very few that I've found with such a high output!I've been using this since mid-February. So far it functions as expected. My Yoga laptop happily charges from it. I know that it requires at least 65W, so this unit provides at least that. Haven't tried it with anything more powerful yet.I recently bought a Macbook Pro which I need to use whilst out and about. One of my concerns therefore was to make sure I didn’t run out of battery power.I have fallen foul of trying to economise in the past, buying cheap products and expecting them to deliver. So this time I did some research:- Whilst the BatPower 120W 90W PD USB-C Car Charger is far from the cheapest car charger about, it fits my bill perfectly. It gives me peace of mind that it can cope with charging my Macbook whilst using it at the same time if necessary (and charge my phone!).It is more than capable of delivering the high power needed and doesn’t take up much space to store it either.Another great feature is that it comes supplied with different leads to connect to USB C (as my Macbook is) and also to standard USB.Highly recommended.I’ve had two of these chargers now, and after about a week do use they suffered exactly the same fault. The pin that makes contact with the positive of the car outlet seizes and stops making contact. This might also be what was causing the poor contact leading to overheating in other people’s reviews.I’m going to order a third and final replacement, but I’m not sure I can recommend this right now. When it works, it’s a fantastic little high powered unit capable of putting out 90w on USB-C, comes with cables included.Bought this specifically to charge my HP Elite X2 using the 4A 12v power point in my Motorhome for high draw appliances.Whilst the computer recognised it as a power source and showed the ‘plugged in’ symbol and seemingly charging, unfortunately it almost immediately stopped charging and so began cycle of on/off/on/off charging but it didn’t actually put any power into the computer.I left it for 40mins to give it a chance and battery power still had not increased but the screen was still flicking to and from it’s plugged in vs battery brightness settings. It will have to go back as it’s otherwise useless to me.Great little device, pleased to see it's well made and for the price it seems of good quality and charges my 15" Macbook 2018 at speed and phone (at the same time). Just what I needed. I did think about buying a lower power device that would charge a bit slower but now it's here I think I've made the right decision.Looks good in blackI was fairly pleased with this item as it did allow charging of my HP Spectre laptop. It seemed to make a slight cracking noise at times and did get very hot which was a little concerning, but it charged said laptop without having to use an inverter, hence reducing power wastage.I would have expected to see more than seven months life from occasional use from a product priced to suggest quality.[Edit] After an email explaining the fault, Batpower swiftly sent me a replacement item without question.
